People say having a baby changes your life, but we never anticipated just how much having our first child would change ours. On October 8, 2012, Frederick Lee Noone entered this world. He was delivered without a heartbeat at 35 weeks of pregnancy. We thought we were as prepared for this baby as we could be, but our lives forever changed that October day. The hope and promise of this little life had suddenly been stolen away and we were at a loss as to what to do. We weren’t prepared for what would follow.
We were fortunate to be introduced to a wonderful hospital staff who gently explained what we might expect. Everyone was practical, level-headed and soothing in our time of desperate need, not something every parent in this situation experiences. We took photos, we held our child, we shared him with others, but we longed for something that could be a tangible and permanent reminder of our child. This led us to our cause…a way to give purpose to Frederick’s soul. We created Frederick’s Friends charitable organization to provide grieving parents at both Community Hospital Anderson and St. Vincent Anderson Regional, who like us are born with angels to have a memory that would last forever by receiving a mold of their precious baby’s hands and feet to cherish forever.
Your support of Frederick’s Friends benefits our cause to help other families with all proceeds being invested in the charitable organization. Our event was created and is managed solely by a group of dedicated volunteers.
Thank you for your support. We feel your love.
